CANSON C à grain Pad A4 – versatile drawing paper with a fine grain

The CANSON “C” à grain Pad in A4 format is a high-quality drawing pad for dry techniques and selected wet techniques. Its naturally white paper has a fine grain that is neither too smooth nor too pronounced, making it suitable for detailed drawings, soft shading and subtle texture effects.

With a weight of 224 gsm, the paper provides a stable surface for pencil, pastel and charcoal. It can also be used with gouache, ink, pen and markers. The sized surface helps the paper withstand repeated erasing or light scraping without quickly flaking or losing fibre stability.

Made from alpha cellulose, the paper is lignin-free, acid-free, naturally white and produced without optical brightening additives. This supports long-lasting artwork and reliable conservation over time.
