BOTZ PRO Glazes with a Broad Firing Range

BOTZ PRO glazes are designed for a wide firing range of 1020 to 1280 °C, allowing them to be used at lower temperatures as well as in high-fire stoneware firings. Color, opacity and flow can change significantly as the firing temperature changes.

Choose Application and Temperature Deliberately

– check the result of the individual color at your target temperature
– follow the recommended application thickness
– at higher temperatures, leave sufficient clearance from kiln shelves and neighboring pieces if the glaze becomes more fluid
– use test tiles to compare results on different clay bodies and at different temperatures

The technical information for the individual product takes priority, especially when using BOTZ PRO on different clay bodies or for functional ware.
